"Exiting the pandemic is a huge challenge. How can we not create new gaps, for example between generations: pensioners who have been economically spared by the crisis, young people faced with unemployment and the burden of debt contracted?
How can we not sacrifice the environment to the will to make aquick recovery of the economy?
Disasters can be moments of transformation deep, new beginnings. We, Social Weeks of France, want to commit ourselves to this transformation. Despite the complexity of the issues, we believe that each of us can make a difference in the world.
On the events: speakers, actors, experts and witnesses will convince us of this. Together we will develop and offer solutions; we will work on them in workshops; we will present them to those in power, to those who have the power; we will challenge them during round-table discussions.
These commitments must also be personal: what are we going to do? as a change in the daily routine of our lives?"
