On the occasion of Viva Technology 2025, the Human Technology Foundation had the honour of hosting an exceptional private dinner in collaboration with Project Syndicate, held at the prestigious Pavillon Ledoyen – Yannick Alléno.
This confidential gathering brought together leaders from the tech industry, public institutions, and academia for a strategic discussion on:
“Europe’s Strategic Autonomy and Technological Leadership: A Decisive Crossroads”
Lors de ce dîner privé, organisé en partenariat avec Project Syndicate, nous avons eu le privilège d’accueillir plusieurs voix de premier plan.
Parmi elles :
– Asma Mhalla, a renowned expert in digital geopolitics and democratic resilience. She teaches at Sciences Po, École Polytechnique, and the Columbia Global Centers, and is affiliated with the Laboratory of Political Anthropology at EHESS/CNRS. She is also the author of Technopolitique : Comment la technologie fait de nous des soldats.
–– Bertrand Badré, former Managing Director of the World Bank, now CEO of Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital. He is the author of Can Finance Save the World?, with a foreword by Emmanuel Macron and Gordon Brown.
– Álvaro Santos Pereira, Director of the Country Studies Branch at the OECD, and former Minister of Economy and Employment of Portugal (2011–2013).
This dinner represents a significant step in a broader initiative led by the Human Technology Foundation, aimed at renewing and strengthening transatlantic dialogue on technology and global governance.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the experts, public officials, and business leaders in attendance, as well as to Project Syndicate for their trusted partnership.
